Playa Piedra de Tarzán is one of the most distinctive and least conventional spots on Nerja’s coastline. Its name comes from a well-known rock formation popularly associated with jumps into the water, which has made this enclave a striking place for swimmers and visitors with an adventurous spirit.
It is not a traditional urban beach and does not have the spaciousness of Burriana or El Playazo. Its appeal lies in the rocky landscape, the direct connection with the sea and the feeling of discovering a place frequented mainly by residents and people who know the Nerja coastline well.
It is important to walk carefully and avoid any jump when you do not know the depth, the swell or the conditions of the seabed. Visited prudently, Piedra de Tarzán allows you to discover a more spontaneous, informal and adventurous side of the Nerja coastline.
