Station information
About the station
Nerja bus station is the town's main public transport stop. It is on Avenida de Pescia, next to the Plaza Cantarero roundabout, about a 10-minute walk from the old town and the Balcón de Europa.
The ALSA intercity buses leave from here, linking Nerja with the main cities of Andalusia: Málaga (more than 60 departures a day), Granada, Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, and long-distance destinations such as Madrid and Seville.
It has a covered waiting area and signposted stops and is well connected with the town centre. As the ticket office is not always open, it is best to buy tickets online or from the driver.

Booking online in advance guarantees a seat and is usually cheaper, especially in high season.
Luggage
ALSA allows one suitcase of up to 20 kg in the hold for free. Bikes need a bike bag and a supplement.
Be on time
Arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. Buses are usually punctual, especially the early ones.
