About EsNerja
EsNerja is the guide to Nerja made from Nerja. It started in 2017 and for 9 years we have been working every day so that anyone visiting the town finds the information up to date and in one place.
Who is behind it
I am Luis M. Gómez. I live in Nerja and I know every corner of it: its beaches and coves, its streets, its festivals, the places locals go and the details that only someone who lives here knows. EsNerja is my way of sharing it.
Why the guide was born
In 2017 there was no guide to Nerja that was truly up to date: the information available, including the official one, did not always keep pace with a town that changes every season. I created EsNerja to fill that gap, with a simple goal: that anyone, local or visitor, could find in one place the beaches, plans, timetables, restaurants and services of Nerja and Maro, kept current.
How we work
- Updated every day. We review timetables, prices, festivals and services daily, and the beach, weather and sea conditions are live.
- Official sources first. We check the information against official sources such as Nerja Town Council and the businesses and organisers themselves.
- Real reviews. Ratings come from Google and TripAdvisor, and the review summaries reflect what visitors actually say, good and bad.
- Independent. Appearing in the guide is free. We earn money from advertising and from some affiliate links, which never change the price you pay or which places we recommend (see the legal notice).
