Historia

Construido en septiembre de 1860 por Vicente Martínez Manescau, destacado industrial y alcalde de Nerja, el inmueble tiene profundas raíces históricas vinculadas al auge comercial y social de la región. Vicente, miembro de la influyente familia Manescau de origen francés, fundó la fábrica azucarera San José en 1864, una de las más importantes de su tiempo, contribuyendo significativamente al desarrollo económico de la localidad.

En 1981, el edificio comenzó un nuevo capítulo en su rica historia cuando nuestros padres arrendaron la planta baja y abrieron el restaurante “Casa Luque”. Desde entonces, el restaurante se ha convertido en un punto de referencia en Nerja, ofreciendo una experiencia culinaria única en un entorno que combina tradición, elegancia y el encanto de una época pasada.
