Playa La Torrecilla is one of Nerja's main urban beaches and a much-appreciated option for families and visitors looking for comfort. Situated to the west of the historic centre, it has a pleasant seafront promenade and is surrounded by accommodation, restaurants and tourist services.
Its extensive stretch of dark sand and shingle offers space for swimming, relaxing or strolling along the Mediterranean. The groynes that mark out different bathing areas form part of its landscape and help create a recognisable beach, well integrated into Nerja's urban setting.
La Torrecilla combines a holiday atmosphere with proximity to the old town, making it easy to alternate a day at the beach with a visit to the centre. At the end of the day, its seafront promenade becomes a particularly pleasant place to walk, dine and take in the municipality's western coastline.
