Resident’s Day celebrates Nerja’s diversity and sense of community with international stalls, food from around the world, live music and family activities.
Resident’s Day is a unique celebration in Nerja that pays tribute to the international community living in the municipality. Nerja welcomes residents of dozens of nationalities, and this day becomes a celebration of togetherness, integration and cultural diversity.
International stalls
Associations and resident groups from different countries set up themed stalls where they showcase their culture, cuisine, crafts and traditions. You can travel the world without leaving Nerja: from British tapas and Scandinavian cakes to Asian and American dishes.
Music and activities
The programme includes live musical performances, folk dancing, workshops for children and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere that lasts throughout the day.
A participatory event
It is an excellent opportunity to get to know Nerja’s multicultural community and enjoy a different experience. Resident associations actively collaborate in the organisation alongside the Town Hall.
