The Playa La Caleta de Maro is a small cove situated beneath the cliffs and the cultivated fields of Maro. Its less direct access and its largely untouched surroundings allow it to retain a peaceful atmosphere, away from the feel of busier urban beaches.
The shore combines gravel, stones and rocky areas washed by generally clear waters. When the sea is calm, it is a pleasant place to swim and explore the seabed with snorkelling goggles, especially around the rocky sides of the cove.
La Caleta de Maro rewards the effort of getting there with an intimate landscape and a strong sense of contact with nature. It is advisable to come with suitable footwear, water and everything you need for your stay, while respecting the crops, the paths and the natural surroundings at all times.
