For generations it was linked to the local fishing families, a traditional identity that can still be sensed in its landscape. Its shoreline of dark sand and gravel makes it possible to enjoy a swim while taking in the white houses and the buildings perched on the cliff.
El Salón is especially recommended for those staying in the centre who are looking for a nearby, relaxed alternative. Its location makes it possible to combine a few hours on the beach with a stroll through the historic centre, a visit to the Balcón de Europa or a meal in one of the nearby restaurants.
