Playa El Chucho is located between La Torrecilla and El Playazo, next to the mouth of the Chíllar river. Its slightly tucked-away location, away from the busiest areas, and its connection to the coastal promenade make it a balanced choice for enjoying the sea close to the centre of Nerja.

The beach features the characteristic combination of dark sand, gravel and small stones found along the Nerja coast. It is a suitable spot for sunbathing, swimming or walking towards the neighbouring beaches, enjoying an open view of the coast and the mountains that surround the town.

El Chucho usually attracts local residents, families and travellers who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. Its position allows you to walk to La Torrecilla and El Playazo, making it also a good stopping point to discover the transition between the urban area and the agricultural landscape to the west of Nerja.
