EsNerja - Guía de Nerja

Introductory scuba diving in Nerja

Your first dive in the Mediterranean. Discover the seabed beneath the cliffs of Maro with a certified PADI instructor.

Introductory scuba diving is the gateway to the underwater world. In a session of approximately 2 hours, you will learn the basic breathing and communication techniques underwater before diving down to a depth of 6-8 metres.

The crystal-clear waters off the coast of Nerja and Maro offer exceptional visibility, ideal for enjoying your first underwater experience. You may spot seagrass meadows, colourful fish, octopuses and, with a bit of luck, seahorses.

All the diving centres in the area have PADI or SSI-certified instructors who guarantee a safe and memorable experience. All equipment (wetsuit, regulator, BCD, tank) is included in the price.
