The car park next to Río Chillar, also known as the "public car park" or Mercadona car park, has changed from being free to charging a fee of ~€2.
It is the usual starting point for the popular Río Chillar water hiking route. Unpaved ground, lit at night.
Tip: If you are doing the Cahorros route, Parking Mirto (C/ Mirto) is closer to the start of the path.
